The CCCM Spring Conferences aim to promote and disseminate research generated by the Portuguese scientific community, both within Portugal and internationally, across various fields of knowledge.
The event highlights the importance of both historical and contemporary connections between Portugal and Asia, viewed from a long-term perspective.
Recognised as Portugal’s leading scientific and networking event in Asian Studies and Western and Asian relations (https://www.cccm.gov.pt/conferencias-da-primavera/), the Spring Conferences annually bring together researchers, academics, and experts from both national and international institutions.
Previous editions included around 180 speakers, among them international researchers connected to the Portuguese academic community. (https://www.cccm.gov.pt/portal-academico/). Many of these presentations resulted in books and scientific articles published in collaboration with the CCCM.
